Marc Endrey: Artist on the Rise

An interview with adult star illustrator Marc Endrey

Marc Endrey is a 21 year old Mexican-American artist living in Los Angeles who loves to draw male figures and portraits. He gets most of his inspirations from gay adult stars like Colby Keller, Diego Sans, Will Braun and many more. I first heard of Marc through Men.com as he often draws models from the site and I immediately knew I needed to interview him. I had the privilege of interviewing Marc about his inspirations and future plans.

Interview Questions:

Where were you born and where do you live now?

I was born in Mexico and now live in Los Angeles, CA.

At what age did you start drawing and when did you start with male figures?

Since I was a kid. One day at art school I needed to draw a human figure. I googled some images and I ended up drawing Colby Keller without knowing he was a porn star. When someone pointed out who he was, I posted it online and got a reply from him and that was the beginning of it all.

Why do you draw mostly male adult stars?

I love their bodies, the porn industry is so diverse. And adult stars love the fan art.

Do you do any other types of art?

I´m learning different techniques. I´m learning animation.

Do you have any idols?

I admire many people like RuPaul. He is so brave. I would love to meet him one day and talk about the differences of growing up for him and me.

Who was your favorite porn actor to draw and why?

Colby Keller for sure! He is so supportive and amazing with me. It all started because of him.

Who do you wish to draw next?

I haven´t drawn Francois Sagat. That would be fun.

And we can’t wait to see that!

Do you wish to pursue art as a career?

Yes. I´m looking forward to it.

Have you ever met any of the models you drew?

Last year in New York I met Colby actually. He was hosting this party for a magazine and he invited me.
