After a three-time Emmy-winning season of RuPaul’s Drag Race, Mama Ru is back with a third serving of All Stars and we just know things are going to be sickening.
The All Stars lineup includes Aja (season nine), BenDeLaCreme (season six), Chi Chi DeVayne (season eight), Kennedy Davenport (season seven), Milk (season six), Morgan McMichaels (season two), Shangela (seasons two and three), Thorgy Thor (season eight), and Trixie Mattel (season seven).
These fierce queens are returning for a second chance (and a third for Shangela) to snatch the crown and earn their place among Drag Race royalty. Who has a real chance of taking home glory?
Let’s take a look at the All Stars cast!
Brooklyn native Aja is the youngest queen to compete on an All Stars season, beating out Tatianna and Adore Delano. Her shady rant about Valentina — “You’re perfect, you’re beautiful, you look like Linda Evangelista” — was quite possibly the greatest moment of Season 9.
With her underrated runway looks and a high-energy personality, BenDeLaCreme was wildly considered a front-runner in Season 6. She won the two first main challenges and one of the most important ones, the popular “Snatch Game” challenge, with her hilarious and uncanny Dame Maggie Smith impersonation, but has failed to make it to the Top 3. Her time has come to shine!
She may be one of the weaker queens looks-wise, but Chi Chi DeVayne made quite the splash in Season 8 with her dynamic dance routines and her lip sync skills to match. Will she step up her fashion game in All Stars? Fingers crossed.
The polished season 7 queen delivered one of the funniest moments in “Snatch Game” history with her impersonation of Little Richard, a weird, unconventional, yet brilliant choice.
Milk, the former competitive figure skater and Marc Jacobs model was the first queen in RuPaul’s Drag Race herstory to bring beards and boy drag to the runway and we are sure she will have us all gagging over her wildly creative looks this year.
The season 2 breakout, known for her punk-rock glam persona, is back to claim her place in the Drag Race Hall of Fame.
Will Shangela death-drop her way to the top? The season 2 (and 3) contestant is the one to beat for one simple reason: she is one of the fiercest competitors to hit the stage in RuPaul’s Drag Race herstory.
The season 8 standout is a self-taught performer with a non-conformist mind. The Brooklyn queen is known for pushing boundaries by incorporating musical instruments in her smart and entertaining performances, as she plays the violin, the viola, and the cello.
Trixie Mattel is back with a vengeance to prove her mettle as a comedy queen. The popular season 7 queen has a huge fan base, thanks to her critically acclaimed country album and her hilarious show on Viceland. Her inimitable aesthetic and her crude, slapstick comedy makes her a prime candidate for the crown.
RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 3 premieres with a special 90-minute episode Thursday, Jan. 25 at 8 p.m. ET on VH1. Watch the upcoming season’s new glittery trailer below.
