Canadian singer-songwriter Shawn Mendes has hinted that his highly anticipated third album could be released in the upcoming months.
The 19-year-old heartthrob posted a rather revealing picture on Instagram with the caption “album soon come”. The “Life of the Party” singer tweeted recently that he was putting the last touch on his new album and rumors are swirling around about a possible collaboration with former One Direction member, Niall Horan.
This news come just two months following the conclusion of Illuminate World Tour, his first-ever headlining arena world tour that generated more than $35 million in ticket sales, which concluded in Tokyo in December.
The multi-platinum singer is one of the five artists to ever debut at number one before the age of eighteen, thanks to his two first albums, “Handwritten” and “Illuminate”. He already has three Top 10 songs under his belt – “Stitches”, “Treat You Better” and “There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back”.
